The View from Mt. Pisgah
http://www.mtpisgahamec.org/newsletter
The View from Mt. Pisgah is the official newsletter of our congregation. We provide this church family with a high quality, full color, graphically enhanced magazine. The mission of this ministry is to convey the work that God is doing through our temple. The publication offers comprehensive reporting on our ministries, special programs, conferences, and members’ accomplishments. Special features include a word from our pastor, historical facts, recipes, financial advice, health and wellness, household tips, praise reports, poetry, and comedy. We will feature a randomly selected ministry each month in order to expose their individual platforms, and to rally support for them. Our columns are inspirational, and as well as informative. We feature our youth in order to instill in them a sense of encouragement and pride. The View additionally outlines the complete schedule for all of Mt. Pisgah.
We distribute printed copies on the first Sunday of each month, and e-mail copies to our subscribers on the first day of each month. Free subscriptions are available by simply sending us an e-mail. The publication is shared with our presiding bishop, the Right Reverend Richard F. Norris, Sr.; our presiding elder, Reverend Charles H. Lett, Sr; and our sister churches from the West-Mainline District of the A.M.E. First Episcopal District’s Philadelphia Annual Conference. One of our goals is to share this newsletter with the businesses in our community.
This ministry is driven by the love of God, and the service of His people for His people. We are proud to place our collective talents at your disposal. We welcome new members and cherish those that we have. We collectively pray for direction, growth, understanding and courage.
Bro. Keith W. Arrington, Sr. is the editor-in-chief; Sis. Deana R. Rivers is the managing editor; and Pastor Jay B. Broadnax is our mentor. The ministry is under the direction of God, our Almighty Father.
