5K/3K Fun Walk/Run to End Child Sexual Abuse

Registration fee $25 per person; Youth (under 18)- $10 per person.

Walk or Run with Sistahs United in Faith & Hope of Mt. Pisgah AME Church to raise funds for Philadelphia Children's Alliance (PCA). All proceeds will support Philadelphia Children's Alliance whose mission is to lead a coordinated response to achieve safety, healing, justice, and prevention for children and families impacted by the adverse childhood experiences of sexual abuse, exploitation, and violence. PCA is dedicated to ensuring that all children in Philadelphia are safe from abuse. For more information on PCA, visit https://www.philachildrensalliance.org/
LOCATION AND TIME
The Neighbor Walk will start and end at Mt. Pisgah AME Church, 428 N. 41st St., Philadelphia, PA 19104. Starting time 8:00 a.m.
In-person Runners, you may run the same route as the walkers or use a route of your choice.
Virtual participants may start at any time on October 12th.

EVENT DETAILS
We invite you to join us either in-person or virtually.
Ways that you can participate:
- 5K or 3K In-person Neighborhood Walk or Run
- 5K or 3K Virtual Walk or Run
- Virtual option for Seniors- Seniors may choose the virtual option that using an exercise video of choice or select one of the following videos:
- Walking Workout for seniors - 25 minutes
- Chair Exercise for seniors – 30 minutes
- Gospel Chair Exercise for seniors - 36 minutes
The 3K option is for those who prefer a shorter distance.
5K = 3.1 miles; 3K = 1.8 miles
Before starting any new physical activity program, it is important to consult with your doctor.
ON EVENT DAY:
Post updates throughout the day on your social media to show your participation. Share photos and videos of yourself. Use #endchildsexualabuse
We will livestream on Facebook and Instagram.
Wear Blue for Awareness:
If possible, please wear something blue during the event. The color blue represents child sexual abuse awareness, and your participation will help us bring more attention to this important cause.
