In 2018, The African Friends of Harmony Gravesite, an historic 19th Century African American Gravesite shared by the Monumental Baptist Church and Mount Pisgah AME Church, was discovered beneath a lot at The University of Pennsylvania. In May of 2020, the remains of those interred there were respectfully reinterred at Eden Cemetery in Darby, PA. The final celebration of their lives and unveiling of a commemorative headstone took place at Eden Cemetery on Sunday, October 31, 2021.
